The Philistines assembled to fight Israel, with three thousand Some Septuagint manuscripts and Syriac; Hebrew [thirty thousand] chariots, six thousand charioteers, and soldiers as numerous as the sand on the seashore. They went up and camped at Mikmash, east of Beth Aven.
